Dec.14, 2018 (Fri)-Our "TCF Annual Candle Lighting Meeting"
This candle lighting ceremony will bring our Parents and Adult Sibling groups together to
remember our children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters at this festive time of year.
The program will include favorite readings, stories, music and will end with the individual
lighting of our candles, followed by time to enjoy each others company and the gourmet
treats lovingly provided by our members for our popular Viennese Table.
Dec. 9, 2018 (Sun)- TCF Worldwide Candle Lighting, unites family and friends
around the globe in lighting candles for one hour to honor the memories of the sons,
daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren who have died. As candles are lit at
7:00pm local time in each time zone around the world, hundreds of thousands of
persons commemorate and honor the memory of all children gone too soon. Now
believed to be the largest mass candle lighting on the globe, this 22nd annual
Worldwide Candle Lighting, a gift to the bereavement community from TCF, creates
a virtual 24-hour wave of light as it moves from time zone to time zone.(It's always
held 2nd Sun. in Dec.)
*** Our chapter will hold a special dinner on Dec. 9, at Pompei Restaurant,
We will gather at 6:30 pm and will be lighting our candles together promptly at
7:00pm, followed by dinner. The "Diamond Room" can accommodate 60 people, so
reserve early to make sure you are included. $30.00 per person includes a four
course dinner, dessert, wine and soda. Candles will be provided.
